It is three in the morning.
It is about 1000 degrees in here.
I am retyping my thesis to fit Clemson's formating guidelines. They are INTENSE.
I am listening to Pandora radio... it reminds me of this summer and doing the Big Cruise office work all night long for several nights... and how R-squared ate about 6 bags of tortilla chips during this experience... and how we slept in the plantations and I had a hammock and everyone was jealous. Also, there were many snakes. Did you know snakes like to climb trees? They do. They will hang out on branches curled up into terrifying black "nests" of snake. These are obviously the "nice snakes" that only eat small animals and don't bite, but nonetheless, it's never pleasant to realize that the thing randomly touching your face... is a snake.
I am thinking... soon I will be on the west coast. This makes me happy. Finishing my thesis will also make me happy. Back to work!
Although I deeply admire your tenacity, I hope you manage to work some sleep into your insane schedule! Even you have got to bump up against diminishing returns at somepoint...
ReplyDeleteActually, I am a power law. On the margin I tend to increase... :)
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of, could you send me one of your data sets on the power laws to look at? I play statistician a little better when I have data to mess around with.
