So apparently I've been accepted to UC Santa Barbara prior to the interview! This is completely unexpected, but I'm elated nonetheless. UCSB is not my top choice for grad school, but it's great to know that even if I completely bungle all the interviews and am roundly despised everywhere I go, I already have been accepted at this school.

Stress...melting away...
This is really good; it will keep me from being so damn nervous at my UCSF interview. If I don't get into UCSF and don't get any other interview offers, I'm not sure whether I would pick UCSB over ASU. I guess I'll have to base it on the interview process. I think UCSB is ranked slightly better than ASU, but I know there's interesting research going on at both places.
Anyway...woo! Yet another reason to celebrate tomorrow at Utage with Lisa. Heh heh.
