You know, it sounds stupid, but I feel like that's actually one of the major drawbacks to usng R -- how the Heff are you supposed to look things up when you're coding in a language called R? I have this same problem with Maple, although to a much lesser extend.
Matlab has many drawbacks, but at least when you search for help on Google, it's unambiguous what it is you're searching for...
lol, and actually in that search I forgot to put "in r."
I never figured out how to make matrixes of matrixes in R. Thankfully, we have a way that I can differentiate some other data (leaf on tree) without having to do a really hideous curve fit on the weight of fallen leaves!
